Chickens and turkeys are
great at making proper use of
grains, but they are healthier,
happier, and much more tasty
when they get to eat their
grains in the sunshine and
fresh air along with a salad of
green clovers and
grasshoppers.
We raise chickens and
turkeys in portable paddocks
that get moved every day to
fresh new greenery. Compared
to barn chickens, they actually
consume about 25-30%
non-grain in their diet and
develop a superior flavor--the
most delicious we've ever
tasted.
We raise a limited number of
chickens and turkeys each
year based on interest
expressed in the spring during
our CSA subscription sign
ups. To ensure your supply,
try to get your order in before
the end of June.
