Wild Mountain Farm is a small farm owned and operated by Lance Bishop in a little community
called Long Beach, about 30 minutes north of Wolfville on the Bay of Fundy shore. Lance grew up
there with his parents who farmed mostly for their own food needs.
Wild Mountain Farm specializes in raising 100% grass-fed cattle and sheep and free-range pork,
chicken, and turkey. Chemical fertilizers, livestock growth hormones, and antibiotics are not used.
Production is guided by Nature and the animal keeping is based on kindness, comfort, and respect.
Lance attends the always-fun Wolfville Farmers' Market every Saturday with a selection of fresh cuts.
With some advance notice you can pick up custom orders for your freezer. Customers outside the
Valley area can get their products delivered monthly through subscribing to the Wild Mountain Farm
CSA delivery.

Bring your family out on Sunday, September 18th 2011!
We want to give you the chance to get fully connected with
your food. Wild Mountain Farm will entertain visitors for
Open Farm Day on Sunday September 18th!
The chickens have already made the journey but we'll visit
the pigs rootin' up this year's pasture renovation project.
We'll go out to see the momma cows and calves on their
summer grass-lands and the sheep on our prettiest pasture
down by the shore.
Afterwards you can go down to the nearby beach for a
campfire and enjoy the beautiful sunset. But don't get caught
by the Fundy tide when you walk on the beach - - it can get
you every 12 hrs!
